are childrens' stories inspired by my cat, Muffy. I would often turn around and see her watching me. She always looked so serious, as if she was trying very hard to understand.

It occurred to me that there must have been cats watching when those things in the Bible happened, too. So, I tried my hand at writing one, then two.

Two things were very important: cats acting like cats and no changes in the Bible story. So, the cats don't talk or initiate any part of the story. They just watch and react to what's happening the way cats would react.
